Denarius, Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: head of the emperor in a laurel wreath to the right, inscription ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP IMP II. Reverse: Annona personified stands to the right with one leg on the prow of a ship, holding a long rudder in her right hand and a container with ears of corn (modius) in her left, inscription TR POT X X COS IIII. Date: 156–157. Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin; diameter 16.5 mm; weight 3.10 g; axis 195°.
