Denarius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161), ca. 156–157. Obverse: head of the emperor in a laurel wreath to the right, inscription ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP IMP II. Reverse: Annona seated to the right, holding a horn of plenty in both hands; in front of her a modius (container with ears of grain), inscription TR POT XX CO III. Roman Empire; minted in Rome. Coin: diameter 16.5–18.5 mm, weight 2.40 g, axis 0°.
