Dupondius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161), issuer: Antoninus Pius. Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius in radiant crown facing right, inscription TONIN S AVG - PIVS PP IM, all around. Reverse: Annona stands to the right with one leg on the prow of a ship, holding a long rudder in her right hand and a container with ears of grain (modius) on her knee with her left hand; inscription TR POT XXI - COS, II all around, with mintmark S C in fields. Date: 157–159. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin (dupondius): diameter 24.0 mm, weight 11.16 g, axis 0°.
