Sestertius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161), circa 152–153. Obverse: head of the emperor in a laurel wreath facing right, inscription ANTONINVS AVG - PIVS PP TR P XVI. Reverse: Salus standing left, holding a patera above an altar around which a snake coils, and a scepter in her left hand, inscription - AVG COS IIII, in SC. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Bronze coin; diameter 32.5–34.0 mm, weight 26.20 g, axis 180°.
