Sestertius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: Head of the emperor with a laurel wreath facing right, inscription 'ANTONINVS - AVG PIV'. Reverse: The emperor in a toga and veil stands left, holding a patera above a tripod with a bull lying behind it; in his left hand he holds a scroll, inscription 'VOTA SOL - DEC II' and 'OS III' in a section, 'SC' in fields. Date: 157–159. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin. Diameter ~30.5–31.0 mm, weight 24.25 g, axis 345°.
