Denarius of Hadrian (reign 117–138). Obverse: bust of Hadrian with laurel wreath facing right; rim inscription IMPCAESARTRAIANHADRIANVSAV G. Reverse: Providentia standing left, wearing a long dress, pointing with her right hand at a globe in front of her, holding a scepter; rim inscription P COS III; on both sides of the figure inscription PRO AVG. Dated 119–122, struck in Rome, Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin, weight 2.95 g.
