Dupondius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161), struck 140–144. Obverse: head of Antoninus Pius in radiant crown facing right, inscription ANTONINVS AVG PI - VS PP TR PC, mint mark III. Reverse: Salus standing left in front of an altar around which a snake is coiled, holding a patera in right hand and a long scepter in left, inscription SALVS - AVG, in SC fields. Roman Empire; Rome. Coin; diameter 24.5–26.5 mm, weight 13.45 g, axis 165°.
