Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius in a laurel wreath to the right, legend ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP. Reverse: Roma sits on a throne to the left, in her outstretched right hand she holds a statuette of Athena (palladium), in her left hand a spear, a shield leaning against the throne, legend ROMA AETERNA, in the SC section. Date: 140–144. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin. Diameter 32.0–33.0 mm; weight 24.50 g.
