Sestertius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: head of the emperor in a laurel wreath facing right, inscription 'ANTONINVS AVG PIVS - PP TR P COS', mint mark I around. Reverse: personification standing left, holding scales in his outstretched right hand and a cornucopia in his left, inscriptions 'M - TA AVG' and in the fields 'S - C'. Date: 140–144. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin (bronze), diameter 31.5–33.5 mm, weight 24.30 g, axis 330°.
