Sestertius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Bronze coin (Roman, c. 140–144). Obverse: head of the emperor in a laurel wreath facing right, inscription NINVS AVG PIVS - PP TR P COS, mint mark I around. Reverse: personification standing left, holding scales in his outstretched right hand and a cornucopia in his left; inscriptions M - TA AVG and S - C in the fields. Diameter c. 31.5–33.5 mm; weight 24.30 g; axis 330°.
