Denarius of Hadrian (76–138; Roman emperor 117–138). Obverse: bust of Hadrian with laurel wreath and drapery on shoulder facing right; rim inscription 'IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADR IANVS AVG'. Reverse: Libertas seated on a chair facing left, wearing a long dress, holding a branch in her right hand and a scepter in her left; rim inscription 'PM TR P COS III'; otherwise inscribed 'LIB PVB'. Dated 119–122, Rome, Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin; weight 3.51 g.
