Denarius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius uncovered to the right, inscription ANTONINVS AVG - PIVS PP TR P COS III all around. Reverse: Genius of the Roman Senate in a toga standing to the left, holding a branch in his outstretched right hand and a long scepter in his outstretched left hand, inscription ENIO - SE - NATVS all around. Circa 140–144. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Silver coin; diameters 17.0 mm and 18.5 mm, weight 3.22 g, axis 165°.
