Denarius, Hadrian (76–138; Roman emperor 117–138). Obverse: bust of Hadrian right, laurel wreath in hair; rim inscription SARTRAIANHADRIANVSAVG. Reverse: Libertas standing left, wearing a long robe with draperies, holding a pileus (Phrygian cap) in her right hand and a sceptre in her left; rim inscription PM TR, OS III; on both sides of the figure, letters LIB PVB. 119–122 CE, Rome, Roman Empire (27 BCE–476 CE). Coin; weight 3.25 g.
