Circular wax impression of the seal of the office of the Elector of Saxony in Dresden. In the field of the seal, an oval crowned shield with the coat of arms of Saxony. The shield is bipartite with a column. The right field is bipartite with a black stripe at the top and a white stripe in the lower field, against this background two crossed swords. The left field with five gold and five black horizontal stripes and a diagonal stripe to the right. Below the shield, two crossed palm branches. In the rim an inscription: CHURFURSTE: SAECHS: AMT: DRESDEN. A second wax seal: decorative monogram FTL (Friedrich Traugoth Ludewig), 1794. Locations: Dresden; Elblag (Poland)., A circular red wax seal pressed onto textured beige paper, showing an embossed central motif with decorative elements and a raised rim, surrounded by dark ink cursive strokes on the paper; the seal surface has fine cracks and slight edge irregularities, and the visible colors include red, beige, dark brown, and a few darker reddish shadows.
