Obverse: male bust in armour with a sash, wide ruff and long beard, turned right; rim inscription divided at the top by the ruler's head: 'CAROL.D:G.DVX.MVNST.ET.OLS:CO:GLA.' Reverse: five-field coat of arms of the Duchy of Ziebice-Olesnica with the Podebradowicz coat of arms in the heart field; above the shield three jewels with labres; rim inscription twice divided by a shield and the mintmaster's mark 'HT' and inscription 'SVPREM.PER.VT. - SIL.CAPIT.615. -'. 1615. Silesia, Duchy of Olesnica. Coin; diameter 27.4 mm; weight 6.95 g., A circular gold-colored coin showing a raised profile of a man facing right with short hair and a beard, wearing an ornate ruffled collar and detailed patterned clothing; the portrait is surrounded by a beaded inner border and an outer rim with raised decorative edge, with engraved decorative markings around the perimeter; the visible colors are gold and variations of yellow with subtle darker golden-brown shading in recessed areas.
