Denarius, Boleslaw III Krzywousty (prince of Poland; 1086–1138). Obverse: in the beaded border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon; a ball on the knight's belt. Reverse: in the triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls; between its arms, one ball (two of them have one dot); one arm intersects the other at approximately 1/3 of its length.
