denarius, Boleslaw III Krzywousty (prince of Poland; 1086–1138), equal-armed cross, crosses, chain mail, spearhead (issue mark), allegories, martyrs, jaws, knight, Romanesque (style), dragons, fight between good and evil, fight against pagans, spear, Adalbert (Saint; ca. 956–997). Obverse: in the linear border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon. Reverse: in the triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls; between its arms, one ball (one of them with a dot). ca. 1125–1138, Poland, Kraków. Coin. Diameter 12.2–12.5 mm; weight 0.35 g.
