Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (king of Poland; reign 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), dated 1520. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian knight) turned left; inscription in rim between beaded borders. Reverse: crowned Polish eagle; inscription in rim between beaded borders: 'IS:LITVA, I, .:., 1520'. Emblems: Pogon and eagle; associated with the Jagiellon dynasty and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Vilnius).
