Obverse: Head of young Marcus Aurelius without a cap to the right, legend 'AVRELIVS CAE' and 'AR AVG PII FIL' all around. Reverse: Minerva stands left, holds an owl in her outstretched right hand, rests her left hand on a shield and spear; legend '- VIII - C' all around. Roman deities (Minerva), owl motif, shields, spears; iconography related to Marcus Aurelius (heir to the throne; 138–161). Date: ca. 153–154. Roman Empire, Rome. Coin (denarius): diameter 17.5 mm, weight 2.97 g, axis 0°.
