Lithuanian half-grosz, Sigismund I the Old (King of Poland; 1506–1548). Silver coin (half-grosz), dated 1508–1529. Obverse: Pogon (Lithuanian chasing knight) turned left; rim with pearl-shaped borders and inscription 'ETA:SIGISMVNDI:'. Reverse: Polish crowned eagle; rim with pearl-shaped borders and inscription 'I:DVCIS:LITVANIE'. Associated with Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania; minted in Vilnius.
