Denarius of Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: Head of Antoninus Pius in a laurel wreath facing right; inscription IMP CAES T AEL HADR ANT NINVS (all around). Reverse: Pax standing left, holding a branch in his right hand and a long scepter in his left; inscription TR POT XIIII - II (all around), PAX section. Iconography: Pax personification, scepters, branches. Date: 150–151. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin: silver denarius; diameter 17.5–18.0 mm, weight 2.63 g, axis 195°.
