Dupondius, Hadrian (76–138; Roman emperor 117–138). Obverse: head of Hadrian in radiant crown facing right; rim inscription obliterated. Reverse: Salus seated left, wearing a long robe, in her outstretched right hand she holds a patera from which she consecrates gifts on the lit altar in front of her; a snake is entwined around the altar; her left hand rests on the back of a chair; rim inscription obliterated. Inscription on field: SC. Date: 119–138. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin, weight 9.35 g.
