Didrachma, Pantikapaion; silver coin (didrachma), 1st quarter of the 1st century BC (95–65 BC according to Frolov 1999, 2002); Cimmerian Bosporus, Pantikapaion. Obverse: head of Dionysus facing right wearing an ivy wreath; reverse: ivy wreath with a monogram above it, inscription in three rows within the wreath and a bunch of grapes at the top. Iconography: Dionysus, ivy wreath, grapes, plants; monograms and inscriptions. Weight 6.82 g; diameter ca. 19.7–20.2 mm. Maker/date attribution: Pantikapaion.
