Ducat, Ernest Pfahler (publisher), Department of Coins of Lands Associated with Poland, coats of arms, male busts; George William Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640) — iconography. Obverse: bust turned right with long hair, pointed beard and mustache, wearing a ducal mitre, collar and electoral mantle; the figure's head divides the inner border and the rim. Inscription in rim: GEORG, WILH:DG, MAR:BRA:S:R, I:ARCHIC:EL. Reverse: under the ducal mitre a five-field coat of arms, on both sides of the shield the date numerals 16 - 38; below, separated by a shield, D - K. Rim inscription divided by the mitre and ending with a heart: MON:NOVA, AVREA.DVCIS, PRVSSIAE, 1638. Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg. Coin: diameter 23.7 mm, weight 3.42 g, axis 45°.
