One-and-a-half (coin). Maker: Pfahler, Ernest. Department of Coins of Lands Associated with Poland. George William of Hohenzollern (Elector of Brandenburg; Duke of Prussia; 1620–1640). Iconography: cross; orb of rule; coats of arms. Obverse: Under the ducal mitre, a five-field heraldic shield; below in the shield the value numeral 3. In the rim between the borders an inscription separated by the mitre and the value numeral GE.WI.MA. -, .SRIE. Reverse: Royal orb with a cross whose arms terminate in finials; in the lower part of the orb the value numerals 24; on the sides of the cross the date numerals 2–5. In the rim between the borders an inscription divided by a cross and a heart – the hallmark NE.NO – DVC.PRVS., 1625. Place and period: Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg. Coin specifications: diameter 19.5 mm, weight 1.09 g, axis 90°.
