Obverse: male bust in armour in profile turned to the right, separating the inner double border (inner continuous, outer pearly); short hair, beard with sideburns. In the rim an inscription beginning with the ornament: G:FRID:D:G:M:BR:DVX.PRVSSIAE between the words circles; outer continuous border. Reverse: in the continuous border an inscription in seven lines: III /GROSS:AR:/TRIPLEX./GEORG.FRID:/DVC:PRVSS:/ I588; denomination and date between rosettes, below the inscription the mint mark. 1588, Ducal Prussia (1525–1701), Königsberg. Coin; diameter 22.2 mm; weight 2.59 g; axis 0°.
