Subject: Albrecht Hohenzollern (Prince of Prussia; 1490–1568) — iconography includes eagles, Hohenzollern coat of arms, male busts in armor. Obverse: Prussian eagle with on its chest a crowned letter S; on the rim between pearl borders an inscription beginning with a trefoil (mirror-image N) ALBE, D*G*MAR*BRAN*DVX*PRVSS. Reverse: Male bust in armour in profile turned right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns, dividing the inner rim; in the rim, between beaded rims, an inscription beginning with the Hohenzollern shield *IVSTVS*EX*FIDE*VIVIT*I545*. Date/place: 1545, Königsberg, Ducal Prussia (1525–1701). Object type/materials: coin (grosz); diameter 23.2 mm; weight 1.92 g; axis 200°.
