Decius Grosz; Jost Ludwik (fl. 1528–1535); publisher Maciej Schilling. Silver coin (R0 rarity), 1544, Königsberg, Ducal Prussia. Diameter 23.1 mm, weight 2.01 g, axis 30°. Obverse: Prussian eagle; on its chest a crowned letter S. On the rim between beaded borders an inscription beginning with a trefoil (mirror-image N): ALBER*D*G*MAR*BRAN*DVX*PRVSS. Reverse: Male bust in armour in profile right; short hair, long pointed beard with sideburns; in the rim between beaded borders an inscription beginning with the Hohenzollern shield: *IVSTVS*EX*FIDE*VIVIT*I544*. Iconography: Albrecht Hohenzollern (Prince of Prussia; 1490–1568); Hohenzollern coat of arms; male busts in armor.
