Teutonic groschen, Frederick of Saxony (Grand Master; 1498–1510); publisher: Hans Wesner (fl. 1480–?); iconography: Teutonic shield, Teutonic order shield of the Grand Master, cross with elongated arms, Saxon coat of arms escutcheon; rarity: R6. Obverse: Teutonic order shield of the Grand Master with a cross whose elongated, widening arms divide the ring legend and reach the outer rim; the upper arm of the cross reaches the edge of the shield, above it on the rim is a Saxon coat of arms beginning the ring legend. Reverse: Teutonic order shield with a cross with elongated arms dividing the ring legend and reaching the outer rim; in the rim between the pearl borders there is an inscription. Date: 1498–1510. Issuing state: State of the Teutonic Order (1226–1525), Königsberg. Coin; diameter 20.8 mm; weight 1.49 g; axis 90°.
