Teutonic groschen, Frederick of Saxony (Grand Master; 1498–1510); Wesner, Hans (fl. 1480–?), publisher. Obverse: Teutonic shield of the Grand Master with a cross whose elongated, widening arms divide the rim legend and reach the outer rim; the upper arm of the cross reaches the edge of the shield, above it on the rim is the Saxon coat of arms beginning the rim legend. Reverse: Teutonic shield with a cross with elongated arms dividing the rim legend and reaching the outer rim. On the rim, between the pearly borders, the inscription. Date range: 1498–1510. State of the Teutonic Order (1226–1525), Königsberg. Coin; diameter 20.5 mm; weight 1.59 g; axis 225°. Damaged stamps (obverse). R6 (rarity). Teutonic Knights (order).
