Obverse: Bust of Faustina I in drapery facing right, legend D·VA AVG - FAV, TINA all around. Reverse: Pietas in a veil stands left; with right hand she pours incense on a burning altar, in left hand an incense container, legend PIETA - AVG all around. Iconography: incense, altars, Faustina the Elder—iconography, Pietas (personification). After 141 CE, Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Rome. Coin: denarius; weight 2.80 g; diameter 16.5–18.0 mm; axis 195°.
