Sestertius, Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180), issuer. Obverse: Bust of Faustina II in drapery facing right, inscription DIVA FAV•STINA PIA all around. Reverse: Aeternitas (personification) in a veil stands frontally, turns her head to the left, lifts a fold of the veil with her right hand, holds a long torch; inscription A ETHER•NITAS all around, in SC fields. Posthumous issue for Faustina the Younger (ca. 130–176; Roman empress 161–176). Iconography: Faustina the Younger, Aeternitas, scepters, veils. After 176, Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin; diameter 33.0–34.5 mm, weight 29.00 g, axis 15°.
