Denarius, Hadrian (76–138; Roman emperor 117–138). Obverse: Bust of Hadrian with laurel wreath facing right; rim inscription: IMPCAESARTRAIAN. Reverse: Roma seated left on a chair, wearing a long robe and helmet; in her outstretched right hand she holds a figure of Victoria, in her left hand a vertical spear; behind her a shield; rim inscription: PM TR P COS III. Probably suberate, 119–122, Rome, Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin; diameter 16.0–18.0 mm; weight 2.95 g.
