Fragment of a votive figure of a man. The fragment depicts a standing man dressed in a tutulus and himation. The outer edge of the himation is framed by an ornament of semicircular serrated edges. The torso is flattened; the front is carefully detailed while the back is flat. The right arm, bent at the elbow, rests on the chest; the right hand is lowered close to the torso, clenched into a fist. The face is oval and elongated with a small chin, thin lips, a long aquiline nose, slanted prominent eyes, arched eyebrows, and a low forehead. Conical headdress. Proto-Cypriot Style II, 600–480 BC (previous dating: 1st half of the 6th century BC). Sculpture, Cyprus. Height 28 cm, width 14 cm.
