Votive figure of a youth holding a bird, votive offerings, Cypriot sculpture. Figurine of a youth shown standing; left arm down at his side with a 'handkerchief' visible in his hand, right arm bent at the elbow and raised upwards, palm open and frontal. Dressed in a chiton and himation; folds of the chiton marked with slightly wavy shallow lines, folds of the himation highlighted with an engraved schematic line. Head relatively small with regular features, visible eyes, straight nose, and traces of red polychrome on the lips. Hairstyle of small curled locks arranged in two rows; hair decorated with a diadem with traces of red polychrome. Back of the sculpture unfinished. Date: 480–310 BC (previous dating: first half of the 5th century BC). Cyprus. Sculpture. Height 43 cm, width 14 cm, depth 14 cm, weight 3.03 kg.
