The image shows Saint Joseph in a bust, with baby Jesus in his arms. The composition is in an oval in a double linear frame, the whole in a rectangular, linear frame along the edge of the plate. The engraving was made by Father Stanislaw Czerski in Salanty in Samogitia. 'As a parish priest, with the help of a young assistant he adopted, he devoted himself to engraving images of saints with Samogitian inscriptions: because he only engraved these images for his parishioners, who, as inhabitants of pure Samogitia, do not know any other language.
