Self-portrait of Jan Nikodem Lopacinski (1747–1810), graphic artist; bust shown in right profile in an oval flat frame topped with a bow. Pendant to the portrait of the artist's wife. He married Helena Oginska around 1770 and Józefa Zofia Oginska around 1790; he was 43 years old at the time but appears younger in this self-portrait. On his chest is a schematic depiction of an order, possibly the Order of St. Stanislaus (received 1776); he was also a Knight of the Order of the White Eagle from 1792, though here only one order is shown. Inscription at the bottom: 'Manu propria sculpsit.' Date: 1776–1800. Medium: print (graphic plate). Dimensions: height 17.3 cm, width 12 cm.
