Obverse: bust of Hormizd IV facing right, wearing a crown decorated with a diadem; a star to the right and a star in a crescent to the left; a triangular three-dot motif above the ear and as an earring; beaded necklace with a central triangular three-dot motif; pearl rim; cosmic symbol above the crown; crescents with stars at bottom and sides; Pahlavi inscription. Reverse: burning altar; left of altar the ruler/Arsaces stands facing forward with a sword; right of altar a priest stands facing forward holding a sword; star at top left and crescent at top right; signs/monograms at both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi inscription.
