Obverse: bust of Hormizd IV facing right, wearing a crown decorated with a diadem; a star on the right and a star in a crescent on the left; triangle of three dots above the ear and as an earring; beads on the neck and a triangle of three dots at the center; pearl rim; symbol of the cosmos above the crown; crescents with stars at bottom and sides; Pahlavi inscription. Reverse: burning altar; left of altar the ruler/Arsaces standing full face with a sword; right of altar a priest standing full face holding a sword; star at upper left and crescent at upper right; signs/monograms at both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi inscription.
