Obverse: bust of Khosroes I facing right; crown on a diadem, crescent with a star on the right, a star on the left; short curly beard, hair tied back in a lock; beads on the neck (central one three triangular beads) and a second long chain; earring of three triangular beads; three crescents outside the rim; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: fire altar; to its left the ruler stands facing forward with a sword; to the right a priest stands facing forward holding a sword; star top left, crescent top right; signs/monograms on both sides; pearl rim; Pahlavi legend.
