Bronze coin of Gotarzes II (king of the Parthians; reign 40–51). Obverse: bust of Gotarzes II facing left, with long beard, curled hair, wearing a diadem, necklace, and cuirass. Reverse: Gotarzes II facing right, seated on a throne; Tyche standing in front of him, giving him a diadem in her right hand and holding a cornucopia in her left. Minted at Seleucia on the Tigris, Parthia (Iran), dated 38–51. Coin diameter 24.5–25.5 mm, weight 10.50 g.
