Crown thaler by Brenn, Efraim (fl. 1774–1792), 1778. Obverse: Head of Stanislaw August Poniatowski turned right, around the inscription divided at the bottom: STANISLAUS AUGUSTUS DG REX POL. M. D. LITH. — pearl border. Reverse: Under a crown, in a wreath entwined with a sash with the motto PRO FIDE - LEGE - ET - GREG, a round five-field coat of arms with the coats of arms of Poland (Orzel), Lithuania (Pogon) and the Poniatowski coat of arms (Ciolek); below on the sash the Order of the White Eagle, letters E. - B. on the sides, around the inscription divided twice: X EX MARCA PURA - COLONIEN. 1778. — pearl border. Inscription on the edge: FIDEI - PUBLICAE - PIGNUS. Coin of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569–1795), Warsaw; silver crown thaler; diameter ca. 40–41 mm; weight 28.03 g.
