Crown thaler by Brenn, Efraim (fl. 1774–1792) for Stanislaw August Poniatowski (King of Poland; 1732–1798). Obverse: Head of Stanislaw August turned right, around the inscription divided at the bottom: STANISLAUS AUGUSTUS DGREX POL.MDLITH. — pearl border. Reverse: Under a crown, in a wreath entwined with a sash with the motto RO, IDE - LEGE - ET - GREG, a round five-field coat of arms with the coats of arms of Poland (Orzel), Lithuania (Pogon) and the Poniatowski coat of arms (Ciolek); below on the sash the Order of the White Eagle, on the sides the letters E. - B., around the inscription divided twice: X EX MARCA PURA - COLONIEN. 1777. — pearl border. Inscription on the edge: FIDEI - PUBLIC, E- PIGNUS- , 1777. Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569–1795), Warsaw, Poland. Coin; diameter 40.3–40.5 mm; weight 28.04 g.
