Seal of Stanislaw Ferdynand Rzewuski (1737–1786), starost of Chelm; round dry impression. In the blue field of the shield, the Krzywda coat of arms; behind the shield, rich panoplies. Inscription around the rim: 'STANISLAUS IN TARGOWICA RZEWUSKI CHELMENSIS CAPITANEUS EXERCITUUM ... MAGISTER, 1765.' Poland., A circular embossed seal pressed into coarse beige paper shows an ornate central crest with a crown topped by three tall plume-like shapes, flanked by a group of flags and crossed staffs on each side. Surrounding the crest is a raised circular border with decorative edging and an outer ring containing embossed markings. Within the lower area of the seal are embossed decorative elements resembling wheels, drums, and small rounded shapes. The paper has a textured fibrous surface in shades of beige and light brown, with a small dark brown spot near the right edge and faint darker brown smudges and lines above the seal.
