Obverse: bust of Duke Jan with long beard in rich attire, facing left, within a pearl rim; rim inscription divided by a rosette: IOHAN.DGDVX.MVNST.SLE.OLS.COM.GLA*. Reverse: within a pearl rim, five coats of arms of the Duchy of Ziebice-Olesnica (two Silesian eagles, a chessboard, diagonal stripes, and a heart field with horizontal stripes; the Silesian eagle and the diagonal and horizontal stripes also represent Zloty Stok and the Podebradowicz family); date 15-63 at left and right of the field; inscription divided by a rosette between two pearl rims: MONETA.AVREA.NOVA.REICHSTEIN. Materials/measurements: coin (ducat), diameter 21.7 mm, weight 3.50 g.
