Obverse: Crowned male bust in armor turned right with inscription in a half-circle: SIGIS - AVG.REX; below, in two lines: .POLO.MAG./.DVX.L. Reverse: Lithuanian Pogon (coat of arms) turned left, below a crown dividing the date 15 - 47, a monogram of the letters SA and the Columns of Gediminas (coat of arms of Lithuania), with rim inscription: MONETA.MAGNI.DVCA.LITVA. Date: 1547. Place: Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Poland–Lithuania). Coin type: grosz; diameter ~22.5–22.6 mm; weight 1.75 g.
