Coin (trojak), Duchy of Courland and Semigallia, Mitawa, 1764; weight 1.59 g. Obverse: in the border, a male bust in armor girded with a sash and wearing a wig, turned to the right, divides the inscription in the rim; under the crowned mitre separating the inscription in the rim, two coats of arms with the White Eagle and Pogon (Chaser), below the value numeral 3 with letters ICS; rim inscription MON. AR. CVRLAND. 1764. Subjects/iconography: busts, heraldic shields, coats of arms, male busts and portraits of the ruler, princely portrait; Biron (family).
