Obverse: bust of Chosroes II right, wearing a crown decorated with two wings, a crescent and a star; left of crown a star, right a star in a crescent; beads on the neck and a central triangle of three dots; behind the crown two ribbons; double pearl rim; behind the rim at the bottom and on both sides a crescent with a star; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: fire altar with two guards in Persian costumes shown frontally holding staffs; above the altar a star on the left and a crescent on the right; coin with a triple pearl rim; Pahlavi legend; outside the inner rim four crescents with a star at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. 590–628, Persia, Sassanid Kingdom (224–651).
