Crown ducat, August III Sas (King of Poland; 1733–1763), Croll, Ernest Dietrich (fl. 1753–1763), August III Sas (King of Poland; Elector of Saxony; 1696–1763), Leipzig (Germany), Saxony, Polish coins, crowns. Obv.: bust of the king turned right, in a crown, wig and mantle, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on his chest, divided at the bottom by a rim inscription: DGAVGVSTVS.III.REX.POLONIARUM. Rev.: under the crown, a five-field shield with the coats of arms of Poland, Lithuania and Saxony, palm leaves on the sides, letters EDC at the bottom, in the rim: SAC.ROM.IMP.ARCHIM.ET ELECT.1756. 1756.
