Crown ducat, maker: Goedecke, Johan Georg (1750–1753). Issued under August III Sas (King of Poland, Elector of Saxony; 1696–1763). Leipzig, 1752. Obverse: bust of the king turned right, wearing a crown, wig and mantle, with the Order of the Golden Fleece on his chest; rim inscription: DGAVGVSTVS III.REX POLONIARUM. Reverse: beneath a crown, a round five-field shield with the coats of arms of Poland, Lithuania, and Saxony; flanked by two palm leaves; at the bottom the letters IGG. Rim inscription: SAC.ROM.IMP.ARCHIM.ET ELECT. Weight: 3.31 g. Type: coin (crown ducat).
